Before real estate, my professional background was rooted in customer-focused roles across sales, marketing, and project/product management. I began my real estate journey as a residential appraiser, gaining a deep understanding of property values throughout Sarasota and Manatee counties. I returned to real estate full-time in 2011 and built my business during a challenging market by delivering trusted advice, local expertise, and unmatched client support.

Beyond real estate, I’ve spent years fishing the local waters, power boating, and racing sailboats locally and through the Gulf to Key West—experiences that give me firsthand insight into the unique lifestyle this area offers. It’s more than selling homes; it’s about helping people understand the benefist and helping them find the coastal lifestyle they’ve dreamed of.

I grew up in New Jersey and moved to Florida in 1973 to finish college.  In 1974, I graduated from the University of South Florida with a BA degree in Business Administration.  In addition, I met the love of my life on Anna Maria Island and got married in 1975. We are blessed to have 2 children and seven grandchildren. 

During my first career in the Healthcare industry, I had multiple sales and sales management roles selling pharmaceuticals, capital medical equipment, software, and maintenance contracts with prestigious companies such as NCR, Bristol Myers, and GE. My sales results consistently exceeded annual goals and I received numerous awards for the highest performance in my companies.   

I have mentored many new sales professionals that have achieved positions of major responsibility.  Several have become CEO’s of major corporations.  I am a skilled negotiator and have accomplished expertise in customer problem solving. I am a master of time management and have a passion for exceeding customer satisfaction!  

Over the years, I had a keen interest in real estate and have successfully bought and sold many properties as an investor.  After coming to the realization that retirement was not for me, I decided to become a realtor and chase my next career!  Within three months of obtaining my license and working as a Realtor with Wagner Realty, I achieved the top sales position status in my office that is located on Anna Maria Island.  If you are buying or selling property in Manatee or Sarasota Counties and want a pleasant experience with exceptional results, please contact me.

Personal Interests

·      I love boating and all water activities.  In addition, I have a daily workout regimen and enjoy playing golf when time permits.

Volunteer Affiliations

·      For the past 14 years I have served as a Guardian ad Litem, currently in Manatee County, FL.  I was a court appointed child advocate, and my role was to ensure that all of the needs of the children assigned to me (in the foster care program) are being met. In addition, I was responsible for providing the judge with an unbiased and independent assessment of the interaction with the parent(s) and child (children). Ultimately, my job was to help determine when to reunite the children with their parents and in some situations, terminate their parental rights.

·      I served as the Executive Vice President of Temple Beth El, located in Bradenton, FL and served on the Executive Board of Directors. (2016-2018)

·      I served as President of Temple Beth El 4 years and served on the Executive Board of Directors (2019-2023)

·      I serve as the Immediate Past President of Temple Beth El and serve on the Executive Board of Directors (2023-present)
